This semester, in line with the Primary Years Programme Grade 5 students’ fourth Unit of Inquiry (How the World Works), the class took a trip to Skytrex Adventure Park in Shah Alam, Selangor. In line with the central idea that ‘energy may be converted, transformed and used to support human progress’, students were able to get first-hand experience on how energy is used in different ways. Moving around obstacle courses within the park, students got the chance to reflect upon potential energy, kinetic energy, gravitational energy and more.
