University College Fairview (UCF) is offering just that, for those who join it’s much coveted, Postgraduate Diploma in Education (International Baccalaureate) (PGDE) programme.
For starters, the first 20 successful applicants to the International Baccalaureate Teachers Development Programme (IBTD) will receive an inaugural bursary of RM 3000.
Full time students at UCF who achieve a minimum CGPA of 3.5 points in the PGDE course, and pass a successful interview, will be offered a three year contract to work in anyone of Fairview International School’s World IB school in Malaysia.
If you are one of the lucky one, do note that the offer comes with a full scholarship to pursue UCF PGDE and UCF Master of Education in IB (MEd).
Also, all tuition fees paid in Semester 1 of PGDE will be reimbursed in cash. The major attraction of winning this contract, is that you will be given sufficient amount of teaching experience and training, that will enable you to apply for the International Baccalaureate Organisation’s IB certificate in teaching and learning, and the IB Advanced certificate in teaching and learning research.
Those who have a recognised Bachelor’s Degree with a CGPA of 3.2 and above ( in the field of English, Maths,Science, Humanities and music) and an English Language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.5 for written and spoken component, should consider to apply to participate in this carrier enhancing programme.
