What is the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme?

The International Baccalaureate is a programme designed to equip students with the necessary information and skills to excel in an ever-changing and increasingly globalized world. It emphasizes unique learning approaches developed to prepare students for a lifetime of learning.

Fairview International School is the only institution in Malaysia to offer a continuum of IB Programme, from Primary Years through Middle Years up to Diploma level. The IB standard is globally recognized and accepted with many of the top university around the world, including the United Kingdom accepting the IB as an entry qualification. Some universities in the US and Canada are known to confer credit or advanced placement for up to one year for students with the IB Diploma.
