Fairview International School Ipoh’s Grade 2 students went for their fifth excursion on 18 March 2015, and it was a very exciting field trip as they looked forward to learning more about ‘how the world works’. The central idea for this Unit of Inquiry was ‘materials behave and interact in certain ways, which determine how people use them’, so at the ceramics manufacturing company we were visiting, they had a great chance to see how materials are changed into something which is useful for our everyday life.
