“Prophetic & Apostolic Pattern and Presence”
Apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors and teachers are very instrumental in the advancement of the kingdom of God. They’re foundational pillars on which the ecclesia is built (Ephesians 2:20). The apostolic and prophetic ministry works best in a family type atmosphere because it eliminates jealousy and intimidation of a gifting or ministry of another. Leaders who do not have apostolic and prophetic ministry in their church should be humble enough to allow other seasoned men and women of God who are anointed in this area to come in and release that grace over them and their congregation. Without apostolic and prophetic ministry administered in the right manner in a family atmosphere, the church won’t be effective as it should be therefore causing it to continue to operate below the standards that God set for the early churches in the book of Acts.
The mission is supposed to be a family and ALL giftings are supposed to be accepted and released to function in the spheres of grace that God ordained when He first established it. All apostolic and prophetic vessels should be raised up as sons and daughters.
In the New Testament (NT), the pattern of worship received by Moses is fulfilled in Christ Jesus and the New Covenant replaces the Old Covenant. However, the principle of leading by Pattern and Presence continues. But the assembly was not only led by Divinely-appointed pattern and order. Throughout the New Testament we see that the Holy Spirit was intimately involved in matters of leadership and guidance. Through the prophetic revelation received from the Holy Spirit, leaders discerned timing and specific guidance from God. So it’s accurate to say that New Testament prophetic and apostolic ministry should be team ministry, family oriented, apostolically and prophetically fathered.
