We are all moving in a direction. Some of us with a lot of purpose, while others are still trying to figure things out. All of us have a NEXT STEP in our spiritual journey—whether you are just learning about Jesus or have attended church all your life. Our desire is to aid people in their spiritual journey—whether they are just asking questions, exploring their faith or attending regularly. All of us have a NEXT STEP.
Initial Step: | The SBA community that sends out disciples for the Heart of God | |

Step 1 : Join A Group | Who are your people? We know it’s important to be connected, but it’s hard to build lasting friendships. What if taking one simple step changed everything? At Supernatural Breakthrough Assembly (SBA), we’re trying to make it easier for you to find people who share your interests. We know that when you get together with people and have fun, you’ll begin to grow into a strong community that serves and grows together. What if you are one step away from saying, “These are my people”? |

Step 2 : Read Your Bible |
The Bible tells us the truth of who God is. If you want to know more about God and His promises, reading the Bible is your next step. Just 10 Minutes A Day Reading the Bible every day can change the rest of your days, and God’s word—the Bible—is the primary way He speaks to us. It’s the absolute best way to discover how to follow Jesus. Reading the Bible will bring you hope, encouragement, guidance, and practical advice on the every day issues you’re facing. It is relevant to everyone, everywhere, at any time. All Scripture is God-breathed… |

Step 3 : Meet Jesus | Life Begins With Salvation Until you have been saved by Jesus, you’re the walking dead. Trapped in your sins. Spiritually unconscious. Separated from God. Salvation is God’s rescue operation: God’s plan and our hope, for God’s glory and our good.Jesus came to earth, died on a cross, and was raised to life to rescue you from sin, make you alive, and bring you into eternal relationship with God. Salvation is not only a matter of life after death, but also the way to live an abundant life on earth with Jesus, here and now.Simply put, Jesus is salvation, and salvation is life (1 John 5:12). That’s why SBA celebrates the empty tomb. When you are saved, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is in you! Salvation Doesn’t Need to be Confusing. Depending on your family background or religious tradition, you may have heard a variety of ideas about salvation.Perhaps you think it’s what happens when you walk an aisle, pray a prayer or get baptized. Maybe you believe salvation is only for “good people,” or that salvation is something you have to earn with good works or something you can lose if you do bad things. You don’t have to wonder or doubt. Jesus wants you to know that you have eternal life. (1 John 5:13). That’s why the Bible — God’s Word to us — is clear about! Do You Want To Be Saved? Perhaps you’ve felt unworthy of salvation because of your past. Perhaps you’ve thought good works and keeping rules saved you. Maybe you thought you were saved because you were baptized or prayed a prayer, without experiencing a change of heart. The good news is that Jesus is calling you to trust and believe that he has done all the work. Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection means we are forgiven and set free to live an abundant life with God here on earth and in eternity. If you are ready to believe and receive God’s gift of salvation, simply talk to God and commit your life Him: “Dear Lord Jesus, I admit that I’ve fallen short. I’ve sinned and need your forgiveness. I believe that You lived, died and rose again so that I could be connected to God. I confess you as my Lord and commit my life to You. I give you my past, present and future. Take my life and use it. I give it to You. Amen.” |
|
Step 4 : Get Baptized | Baptism is telling the heavens about your faith in Jesus and communicating to the world your heart-felt commitment to following Him. It’s the next step after salvation.Baptism is an outward expression of an inward change. It’s a public declaration of how Jesus changed your life. Being baptized shows others that you’ve decided to follow Jesus, and allows them to celebrate this decision with you (Acts 16:31-34). Baptism doesn’t save a person; it’s a symbol and celebration of salvation (1 Peter 3:21). The power that brought Jesus back to life is the same power Jesus uses to change our lives – and that’s worth getting excited about! Why does baptism matter? Jesus instructs us to be baptized and set the example by being baptized (Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 1:9). Obedience to Jesus shows we believe and follow Him. (1 John 2:3). Because Jesus went public about His love for us, we can go public about our love for Him. Being baptized shows that we turn away from a life of sin toward Jesus, the only one who can change us (Acts 2:38-41). |

Step 5 : Connect & Serve | Connect=When was the last time you laughed until it hurt, or shared a meal with friends you felt you’ve known forever? You don’t have to look far to find this people. Serve=God gives each of us unique gifts and abilities to build the church. Serving is one of the best ways to discover and use the gifts God has given you. As you serve, you’ll meet other Christians who can help you see what makes you special. You’ll also experience the joy of God working through you to make a difference in others’ lives. No matter what season of life you’re in, SBA has serving opportunities for every personality, skill set, and schedule. Discover some of our ministries! |
Come – Join Us In This Journey!
Life can be tough, but you don’t have to go through it alone. We want to help. Whatever you’re facing, we know that the first step to getting past whatever is holding you back is to reach out and talk to someone. What if success is one conversation away?
The more we get to know God and the wonder of our salvation, the more we realize how desperately we need him in every detail of our lives. We know we can’t change our own hearts– let alone the hearts of others in our families– or much of our circumstances, but God can. And he loves to answer the prayers of his people!
In SBA, we express our dependence on God by prayer. Even though we have much growing to do in the area of prayer, we are encouraged by God’s patience with us and the help that he is giving us.
As a servant of God, we have tried to emphasize prayer from the very beginning and we long to grow in prayer so that our church, the community around us, and even those in other regions would be affected by our prayers.
