We invited a journalist from The Star, Ms Logeiswary Thevadass to speak about her profession and how newspapers change the perspectives of the public. She prepared a slideshow and shared on her personal experiences on how journalists work round the clock to gather information and publish them the next morning. Ms Logeis too shared with the class the important elements of persuasive news articles. The students were very intrigued to know how journalists are always ever ready to collect information for their articles. It was an informative session.
