Working to create an edition of the Fair News was an experience that none of the students in Mr. Joseph’s Middle Years Programme Grade 7 Language & Literature class would be likely to forget. In line with the unit’s main topic (Journalism), students were tasked with writing news pieces and they truly thrived. Besides that, we also took to making the lesson interactive through a skype lecture with an established journalist, while another reputable newspaper writer stopped by to give the students tips on article-writing.
